About Us

Since 1994, the Summit String Quartet has performed in area concerts as well as numerous weddings, receptions, church services and other special occasions in the Lincoln, Nebraska community.  The members of the quartet are professional musicians and perform regularly with Lincoln’s Symphony Orchestra, Omaha Symphony, the Nebraska Symphony Chamber Orchestra, and the Nebraska Chamber Players.  The Summit String Quartet has performed or recorded with the Lincoln Choral Artists, Union College Choir, First Plymouth Choir, Abendmusik and Abendchor of Lincoln, Nebraska Wesleyan University choir, Linoln Lutheran Choir, Jack Rinke, Rachael Yamagada, The Faint, Broken Spindles, Azure Rey, and Jackson and Almeda Berkey.  Quartet members are active educators in the community, as private instructors, and also as instructors for Lincoln Public Schools, Doane College, Prairie Hill Montessori, and Child’s View Academy.
